ON VISITING A SEX SHOP

Retired from eden stand
eve and adam with the latest
in kama's wardrobe opposite
cathedral in eindhoven
behind red glasses
participate in dubious deals
deifying the aesthetic of lust
sell illusions in glossy covers
or see-me-through wrappers

naked nudes, plastic phalli
enlarger, lotions, super-double
ready coitus, sex hold-up
new casesstes, cartoons, orals
and all hot and cold in dark

disturb hymen with roiled insides
create thunder in marble eyes
scanning underneath each girl's clothes
sweating, sighing, staring
dribbing in the loins like a caliban
wishing to rip her dress and mount

isn't christ ashamed of wet
waist in fountain flashing
fleshly message to tired men
seeking forgiveness on sundays?

ETERNAL SPRING

Unable to bear my own heat
280 times a year
I climb and die in your sea

tingle together in warmth
declare divine joy body gives
280 times a year

or even more I can't count
the heat rises and lost in
moments unforgettable

I explore the eternal spring
you tend so meticulously
at the top or bottom or back

I glue to lick each drop
eject squeeze half-strangled
rock in boats of bodies

in wetness, do again
with shared impulse write love
retrieve self from ourselves

SEA

Afternoon
dancing on the waves--
receding sea:
then a lashing roaring wall
of water, returning sea
